WELCOME to the WBLAHS Girls' Swim & Dive Team!

We are a no-cut program open to swimmers and divers of all skill-levels in grades 7-12. There is a place for everyone on our pool deck. Practices begin on Monday, August 12 from 4:00 - 6:30 p.m. at the White Bear YMCA.

Join us for Youth Night!

Tuesday, October 15 at the White Bear YMCA

Join the WBLAHS Girls' Swim and Dive team on the pool deck at 5:30 p.m. prior to the start of the meet. Learn the team cheers, chat with the Bears about the program/swimming and diving and receive a swimming themed temporary tattoo. Stay on the pool deck with the team during the meet as well!

Following the diving portion of the meet (around 7:00 p.m.) participate in the chuck-a-duck contest (all kids will receive a free duck for this) and the t-shirt raffle.

Swim and dive meets typically end around 8:15 p.m. Following the diving portion of the meet, parents are welcome to bring their little Bears home OR they can stay through the end of the meet with the team!

Practice Schedule

Practice is held at our Home Pool - White Bear YMCA

Monday through Friday 4:00 to 6:30pm
Saturday 8:00 to 10:00am

Before school starts:

4:00-4:30pm - dryland
4:30-6:30pm - swim/dive

After School starts:

Middle Schoolers:
- Monday & Wednesdays:
  - 4:30-6:30pm - swim/dive
- Tuesday & Fridays:
  - 4:30-4:45pm - dryland
  - 4:45-6:30pm - swim/dive
High Schoolers:
- Monday & Wednesdays:
  - 4:00-4:30pm - dryland
  - 4:30-6:30pm - swim/dive
- Tuesday & Fridays:
  - 3:30-4:15pm - Strength Training at WBLAHS
  - 4:45-6:30pm - swim/dive

Practice is held on non-school days. Watch for emails from Coach Tia.

There is no practice on meet days.

Transportation

Buses are provided for all conference away meets. Student Athletes are expected to ride to and from away meets as a team. Buses are provided for certain away Invitations meets on Saturdays. Watch for emails from Coach Tia.

Home Meets

Team members must be at the Y by 4:00pm (middle schoolers are to arrive by 4:30pm), suited up and ready to go. Warmups start at 4:30pm. Meets starts at 6:00pm.
